What is Mentoring?
Mentoring is a reciprocal learning relationship in which a mentor and mentee agree to a partnership where they will work collaboratively toward achievement of mutually defined goals.

How to Choose a Mentor

Mentors should be chosen with care. Your scholars come from diverse backgrounds, different cultures and economic situations so it is important to match them with mentors who would be a great fit for them. To read more about mentor recruitment, please refer to the section below:

Maintaining the Mentoring Relationship
Once mentors are chosen, the next steps are for scholars to get comfortable with their mentors and do all necessary tasks to maintain the relationship. The following pages explain in great detail some of the best practices in maintaining a successful relationship. Please refer to the pages below:

Closing the Relationship
After being part of a successful mentoring relationship it is natural that it must come to an end. Closing a mentoring relationship requires both parties to reflect on the time they have spent together and speak about the impact that the relationship had on one another.
